'AIRWAVES' - the bi-monthly catalogue magazine for everyone interested in old technology

On The Air has been the UK's leading mail order retailer of vintage radios and other early technology for over ten years.

In that time we have had literally thousands of radios, gramophones, TVs and telephones. We have always produced a catalogue, but from the early days of photocopied sheets we progressed through a simple catalogue to AIRWAVES, a professionally produced magazine format, available by subscription. We now have a worldwide database of subscribers, some of whom buy regularly, but others just enjoy reading it for the information it contains.

Increasingly, we find people are using it as a price reference - it's not quite what we intended, but why not? We have been consultants to antique trade magazines and Miller's Collector's Guide for some years, so our valuations are based on facts, not fantasy.

We do try to have the best selection of quality items available, and describe them accurately. If there are any faults or non-original parts, we say so.
