National ‘Gnat’ c.1923. Small open panel crystal set, made by National Wireless and Electric Co. in Acton.
Good original condition, but the BBC transfer has been rubbed off the cabinet. It has the original coil shorting link engraved ‘Gnat’ (unlike the one shown in Tickling the Crystal Vol. 1 p140.)
Very neat little set, only about 4” square.
