Crosley 148 c.1934. Super looking little USA set in 'Cathedral' style. It is only about 12" high, so will not take up too much room, and although a compact set it works well. It has been extensively restored (I believe by the Vintage Wireless museum in London) and the internal appearnace is a credit to Gerry's workmanship. A 240v transformer has been fitted, and a suitable metal cover madeto prevent any live terminals being exposed as of course these sets never had back covers. The cabinet has been sympathetically repolished, so the set has altogether had renovations which would cost as much as we are asking for this lovely little radio.
