Philips 634A 1933. One of the Philips 'Superinductance' TRF sets, known as the 'Ovaltiney' after it was used in a 50's advert for Ovaltine, even then evoking pre-war nostalgia. This example is in original unrestored condition, good cabinet, chassis looks all original, back is missing but otherwise looks good. original cloth and knobs. Well worth restoring, good restored examples of this set sell at over £400.
