Marconi 'Crystal Junior' RB2 1922. One of the few crystal set models made by Marconi, the RB2 is a neat little set in a black rexine covered cabinet with instructions in the lid. It has the MWT ivorine plaque on the lid, Marconi transfer on lid and BBC PMG transfer inside. They were available with two detectors, this one having the catswhisker as against the carborundum type, for which a cell was used, hence the little cover in the centre which was often lost. It has a Range 1 block (others were available) and seems to be all in very clean condition. A rare set.
