BTH 'Radiola' Type VC Form 'B'. I valve crystal set 1923. One of the classic sets of the period, it is based on the Twin Crystal but does not actually use the same panels. It contains a single valve, and originally housed the special HT battery inside the cabinet. (A small hole has been made at the back to connect an external battery.)
This is a very good example of this attractive set in a solid walnut cabinet, with the instructions in the lid. It appears to be all original and is very clean throughout. These cabinets being solid wood often split, especially the lid, but there is no sign of this in this example.
The BTH and BBC transfers are clear, and the set is generally very clean.
